Changes in use of pathways by motorists in the Luz Circle happen now and then as Chennai Metro work advances.
Just now, since Chennai Metro is planning to carry out extensive work in the Picnic Plaza zone, plans are on this weekend to close the pathways created here alongside the barricades.
This means two-wheeler riders will not have access to two sides of Luz Circle zone on its south side – for as long as July 2024.
Pedestrians still have access to the narrow pathways that allow people to walk towards the Thirumylai station and North Mada Street zones.
A notification to this effect had been displayed on barricades here.
