BVB offers courses in basics of computing and Internet to poor youths, senior citizens

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Gandhi Institute of Computer Education and Information Technology Centre at Mylapore 18-22, East Mada Street will soon start its next course in the basics of computers; this is fvree course meant for economically weak teens.

One course is offered to senior citizens.

The course is a job-oriented one with classes on MS-Office, Tally, and DTP.  The Bhavan says these courses have helped many students to secure employment at various levels.

Senior citizens can now take a course in Microsoft Word, Excel and on the use of internet.

Last date for collection and submission of filled applications forms is June 25. For more details contact in person.
