The community at Mylapore’s Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School formally said thank you and good bye to its principal, G. Pandian recently. He retired.
The function was organised by The National Boys’ & Girls’ Education Society, at the school premisses.
Present were president of the Society, Srinivasan K. Swamy presided over the function along with Dr. Vathsala Narayanaswami, Hon. Secretary of the Society, V. S. Subramanian, the school secretary, M. Srikanth, secretary, Lady Sivaswami Ayyar Girls Higher Secondary School and Vikram Vijayaraghavan, committee member, NBGES.
The principal and vice principal of Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, and the Headmistress of Lady Sivaswami Ayyar Girls School were also present.
Teachers, staff and retired staffsof SSK MHSS shared their memories of the senior teacher.
His friends, well-wishers and family members also shared cherished memories.
The function ended with a nice high tea arranged by NBGES.
