Ramu Karra, 58 and a resident of 3rd Street, East Abiramapuram passed away on March 20, 2024.
He was a resident of East Abhiramapuram for the last 30 years.
He belonged to the 1983 batch of Vidya Mandir school, Mylapore. He was working with Kotak Mahindra Bank.
His family said he was known to many of his friends and colleagues for his simplicity and straightforwardness and remembered for his smile.
He loved travelling and was always there for his friends in good and bad times, the family added.
His Vidya Mandir friends fondly remember him as a handsome guy with a mischievous smile and for his ‘whistle-podu’ support for Chennai cricket teams.
