The kumbabishekam of Sri Valampuri Vinayakar Temple on Arundel Street, Mylapore was held on Saturday morning.
A large number of people gathered around it on the street to participate,
‘As the temple was renovated extensively, some people raised objections, saying that the temple was not located on recognised land.
But the priest and temple managers said that they have valid documents to prove that it is legal,
The Mylapore MLA took part in the kumbabishekam.
