It was the turn of actor – politician Kamal Hassan to lead a road show on Saturday evening across Mylapore.
Led by a crowd of about 500 plus people, the caravan covered the areas of north Mylapore, with a stop at Ambedkar Bridge behind CitiCentre mall.
Alongside the actor-politician was Chennai South candidate Tamilachi Thangapandian of the DMK.
Kamal tossed up parable-like stories to talk from the campaign van about electoral bonds and corruption by the BJP, the benefits to people from the DMK government and his role in this election.
While there were lots of DMK cadres with flags all around, a few youths waving flags of Kamal’s party were also seen.
