San Thome – Mandavelipakkam area councillor Amirda Varshini ( Congress) attended an iftar event that the community had orgabsied at the mosque on Jonathan Lane in Ward 126.
Muslims are observing the season of Ramzan now and fast, breaking it late evening.
Jamaat members and local party cadres also took part in this event.
