Choristers, young and senior, presented an evening of Passiontide music on Palm Sunday, March 24 evening at CSI St. Thomas English Church.
Led and accompanied by Anila Manoharan, the choir sang selections from ‘Man of Sorrows’ by Van Denman Thompson – a cantata for Holy Week, with songs about Christ’s suffering, his crucifixion and redemption, to resurrection on Easter morning.
Rev. Anitha Christian, the Presbyter, shared a brief message on the theme.

CSI St. Thomas English Church has two worship services planned for Easter. The Easter Vigil is on Saturday, March 30 at 11.30 pm, and the Easter morning sung Eucharist is at 8.00 am on Easter Sunday.
