Residents in Ward 126 ( Mandaveli – Mandavelipakkam – part of R A Puram zone) can avail of face to face meets with officials of a host of state agencies to address issues that bother them now; the civic meet is being held today ( Jan.24).
Officials of departments like the GCC, Police, Revenue, Adi Dravida, Social Welfare, power supply ( TANGEDCO) and more will be at desks set up in the indoor court in Alphonsa playground on South Canal Bank Road, said ward councillor Amirda Varshini.
The desks are open from 10 am to 3 pm.
This event is part of the Makkaluddan Muthalvar programme of the M K Stalin-led DMK government which enables state services to be provided inside neighbourhoods from time to time.
