The Nandi is always cute and welcoming in any temple.
On Tuesday morning, the Nandi at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple was more than cute – it was grand, colourful and proud.
Early in the morning, the Nandi was adorned with layers of sweets of all kinds: garlands of them hung around its neck.
And there was a queue of people around it, some saying a prayer, some taking in the Nandi and some lost in the beauty of today’s festival.
