The teppam festival for Thai Poosam at Sri Kapali Temple will be held on January 25, 26 and 27.
In the evenings on all three days of the festival of thai poosam, the deities will be grandly decorated and taken out in procession from the temple to the west side of the tank and then set inside the decorated teppa.
‘People are allowed into the tank on some sides, they can sit on the top level steps and watch the teppam.
But people are not allowed into the teppam, which will make the rounds on all four sides.
