The community at CSI Church of the Good Shepherd of Mylapore will be celebrating the 125th anniversary of this church on January 28.
As part of the anniversary celebration, the community supported the weddings of three poor couples from Soorai village, Vadakaddapanthangal Pastorate.
They were solemnised by pastor Rev. Earnest Selvadurai. The arrangements were made by K. Sudhakar Immanuel, secretary of the pastorate committee along with Sugirson Vincent, treasurer and other committee members.
The entire expense of Rs 3 lakhs was borne by church member V. P. Raju and his family.
