A series of events are taking place at Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Sec. School, Mylapore.
Craft Bazaar – 2024 opens today at the Conference Hall. S. Saravanan, art educator & entrepreneur and S. Bhuvaneswari, educational entrepreneur are the chief guests.
Principal M S Jayashri says, ” It is endeavour of the school to encourage students to participate in a host of activities and demonstrate their talents in various fields inclusive of art. Their artistic skills are the showcased annually in the Craft Bazaar.”
The display will be open on January 23 and 24 for students between 10.00 am. and 3.00 pm. and for the parents on Jan.27 between 9.00 am. and 12.00 noon.
The school is also hosting Chip Challenge on Jan.24 at the school auditorium. Radha Shekar, HOD, computer science department, P. S. Senior Secondary School, will inaugurate this event.
At the event, student teams will display computer based projects. The display will be open on Jan. 24 for students between 10.00 am. and 3.00 pm. and for their parents on Jan.27 between 9.00 am. and 12.00 noon.
Other events lined up are
– Republic Day – Jan.26, at 7.30 a.m.
– Thyagaraja Aradhana on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 10.30 onwards. Students and staff members will be rendering the Pancharatna kritis at the auditorium.
