Our Lady of Guidance Church in R. A. Puram observed Elders Day on December 26. There was a special Holy Mass and carol singing held at 11.30 am for the elders of the parish.
People who are 70 years plus were invited to this special Christmas event. Some 40 elders attended it.
Parish priest Fr Y. F. Bosco said that the children’s choir sang at the Mass and the youth group lent a helping hand in conducting the event.
After the Mass, the elders were given a piece of cake and a towel.
On December 28, Holy Innocents Day will be observed. There will be a special Mass for children at 8 am and at 3 pm, there will be sports and games conducted for the children of the parish.
