Proactive GCC officials responded to calls to address issues of water stagnation issues in Thiruvengadam Street , Mandaveli the past week .
There was around two feet of water on this dead-end stretch.
The civic workers drained out much of the stagnant water and later, the water full drained off.
GCC AEE Muthiah and Gopinath, GCC AE came by to address this issue and they spent a good deal of time to sort out the issues .
Many GCC local unit engineers are being proactive locally. This is one case.
