Gayatri Fine Arts Global is hosting its 5th music festival at a hall in Mylapore – Sri Krishna Saras Hal on P S Sivaswamy Road, Mylapore.
The launch of the fest is on Dec 23, at 2.45 pm with the lighting of kuthuvilakku with the chief guest Cleveland V. V. Sundaram in attendance.
Sundaram will confer the title “Achaarya Vishaaradha” on vidwan K. N. Shashikiran and the title “Sangeetha Seva Vishaaradha” on sabha promoter N. Balasubhramanian.
The host will also honour mridangam makers A. Jhonson Kennedy and Sowriyar and tambura artistes R Vaiyanathan and K Lalitha.
This fest is on till Dec.26, featuring top and up and coming artistes. Open to all. Chitravina Ganesh curates this festival.
