Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore,will be conducting “Bhavan’s Natyotsav 2024” from January 2 to 15, 2024 at its Main auditorium.
This follows the music festival that was held at different venues on its premises.
The festival will be inaugurated by Nandini Ramani, senior Bharatanatyam exponent and teacher-scholar on January 2 at 5.30 pm.
That evening is the presentation of the Bhavan’s award instituted by Mohan Narayanan; this time it will be received by two Bharatanatyam artistes – Narthaki Nataraj and Zakir Hussain.
The dance festival presents 45 performances ( Bharathanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Odissi & Mohiniattam) by various artistes and groups.
The programme is non-ticketed and open to all on first-come first-served basis.
