Ayyappa Bhaktha Samajam in R A Puram in association with Kalyana Nagar Association is
conducting its annual Mandala Pooja this year from Dec, 21 to 27 with several special events besides the daily religious ceremonies.
On the opening day, Thursday,December 21 is the Maha Rudra Yagnam and on Friday, December 22, is Sri Dhanvantari homam.
On December 25, is the key event, Laksha-archanai, Karamarchanai, Sathapreethi and Annadanam.
The Mandala pooja concludes on Dec.27 with the grand procession of the deities .
In the evenings, there are two music concerts a day – at 5.00 p.m and 6.45 p.m for 6 days ; these will be held at the Samajam as part of the Mandala Pooja. Namasankeerthanam and bhajans will be performed by Brahmashri Udayalur Kalyanarama Baghavathar , Gnanananda Namasankeerthana Mandai, Kanakavalli, Sreeranjani Kaushik, O.S.Mohan and troupe, O. S. Mukundan and Karur Rajesh Bhagavathar .
The samajam, whose president is C V Viswanathan, has planned and is managing this annual puja.
