Councillor Amirda Varshini of the Congress party who represents Ward 126 has launched a web site and a QR code last weekend.
Corporation commissioner J. Radhakrishnan was at the event to do the honours.
Varshini says that, for now, the two Net-based tools will enable people of her ward to alert her to issues that may crop up during the monsoon season.
The ward broadly covers Mandavelipakkam / Mandaveli zone.
Other local issues can also be raised / shared.
