The monsoon has not been battering the city but the rains this far are showing up some Mylapore streets that have been in a bad condition for many months now.
One such is the Alamelumangapuram Street that runs off from Venkatesa Agraharam Road near the Saibaba Temple and handles heavy traffic to and from P. S. Senior School in this zone.
The rain of the past days his showing up the series of large potholes which are now filled with water and pose danger to motorists as well as pedestrians.
