Pelathope resident R. Murali (57 years old ) passed away on October 17.
He belonged to the fifth generation of the family which has had its roots in Pelathope, a quiet colony off R. K. Mutt Road, opposite the main gate of Thirumylai MRTS station.
Narayana Rao, Murali’s great grand father built the house where the family resided.
Murali was a B. Com graduate from Vivekananda College and did his MBA studies too. He was management consultant for sometime.
He was actively involved in social activities and helped the Pelathope Residents’ Association in many ways. Recently, he was elected as the vice president of the association.
Murali is survived by his wife Dharani, an employee of India Post and his parents, Raghavendra Rao and Prema.
