The 49th year Art Festival 2023 of Kartik Fine Arts sabha for the December Season will be formally inaugurated at 6pm on Friday, December 1 at Shree Sathguru Gnanananda Hall (Narada Gana Sabha campus, TTK Road, Alwarpet.
The chief guest is mridangam vidwan Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman. Dance teacher-scholar Nandini Ramani is the guest of honour.
Artistes will be decorated with titles that evening – vocalists Vignesh Ishwar and Sriranjani Santhanagopalan and dancer Kanaka Krishna Prasanth are the artistes to be awarded. There are a few other awards for artistes that will be presented that evening.
A dance recital follows the launch and awards event.

Only daily tickets for the concerts are sold; there are no season tickets. –
The concerts from December 1 to 13 are at Narada Gana Sabha hall. From Dec.14 to January 3, 2024, concerts are at the main and mini halls at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
The Natya Darshan seminars and recitals are from Dec 15 – 17 and curated by Roja Kannan
Dancer Malavika Sarukkai’s own dance fest, featuring top dancers is from Dec 22 to 24.
