Raja Annamalaipuram Residents Association (RAPRA) has been conducting for the past two years, weekly, free coaching classes in commerce, accountancy, business math and economics for senior students.
These students are from Chennai Schools and government-aided schools located in the neighbourhood.
Now, Fenice Energy, a R A Puram-based company, in the field of solar energy and EV charging stations, in appreciation of the interest shown by these students and with the objective of helping them in their studies, donated to 11 students laptops loaded with basic software.
The laptops were gifted to students who have been regularly attending classes.
At a simple function held on November 28, Pasupathy Gopalan, CEO and founder of Fenice Energy, presided over the function.
K. Gopalan, a senior citizen and member of RAPRA, blessed the students and handed over the laptops to them.
