Athmalaya conducts classes for women of all ages with a focus on dance and meditation.
It has centres in Chennai, Bengaluru and in the USA.
Started in 1998 by Bharathanatyam dancer Mala Bharath, Athmalaya completed 25 years this November.
For its silver jubilee celebrations, Athmalaya organised ‘SilveRazzmatazz’, a unique folk dance fest on Saturday, November 18 at Nandanam.
The fest included a games zone with dance-themed fun games, nooks where women could learn some folk dance steps and finally, folk dance performances by 120 students of Athmalaya.

The evening ended with dinner. Over 400 women attended the event.
