Elders Day was celebrated on October 1 at CSI Church of the Good Shepherd in Mylapore zone.
A free medical camp was conducted by a team of doctors from Kalyani Hospital. There was an eye check up done for the elders.
A team of doctors from among the members of the parish also lent a hand to the event.
Blankets were distributed to all the elders. Around 200 elders took part and benefitted from this camp,
Elections were held last month to elect a new Pastorate Committee that comprises 17 members including the Pastor. The new secretary is A. Sudhakar Immanuel and the treasurer is Sughirson Vincent.
The parish will be celebrating the Harvest Festival on the 8th of October.
