Sri Venugopal Vidyalaya school in Mandaveli celebrated its 43rd Annual Day recently.
The event was held at Kamaraj Arangam, Chennai on October 20. The chief guest was Prof. C M K Reddy, vascular surgeon, and President, Tamil Nadu Medical Practitioner’s Association.
The dignitaries for this event included the executive members of the committee of Telugu Mahajana Samajam, K. Anilkumar Reddy, president, V. Govind, secretary and correspondent, and K. Ranga Reddy, treasurer.
Students took turns to present a medley of cultural performances. Meritorious students were felicitated.
Telugu Mahajana Samajam, one of the oldest Telugu organisations in the
city of Chennai, was started in the year 1954. The Samajam promoted Sri Venugopal Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, in 1980.
