More and more stores in Luz Circle are either shutting down or shifting in this zone following advances in the preliminary work undertaken by Chennai Metro here.
Vasanth & Co., a dealer in all white goods has pulled down its shutters on the north east section of the Circle. Many months ago, a jewellery store here had also closed it business.
Hawkers on one side of the Luz Circle have suspended business and are still expecting an alternate space, while asking the local MLA and councillor for the option. They want a space in a busy zone but there isn’t any such space available in this zone.
