Major renovation work is to begin at Sri Adikesava Perumal Temple in Mylapore’s Chitrakulam zone. This will lead to the temple’s kumbhabishekam for which a date is yet to be set.
The balalayam rituals have been taking place inside the temple ( see photo below), a prelude to allowing work to be done in the various shrines.
The temple will be open to people as usual – from 6.30 am to 12 30 pm and from 5 to 9 p.m.
