Career Launcher conducted the Chennai Sudoku Challenge contest the past weeks and the final round was held on Sept.9 to mark International Sudoku Day.
More than 100 Sudoku enthusiasts participated in the preliminary rounds. There were 34 finalists in three categories based on the age groupings, said Deepa S., centre director, Career Launcher, Chennai.
The eldest participant was S. M. Sundaram (93 years) and the youngest participant was Tanvee Katare (6 years)
Cash prizes were given to all the winners and runners up. The winners were – M. Thilak ( 60 yrs plus category); N. Vignesh ( 20 to 60 years category) and Navneet Katare ( less than 20 yrs category).
