The Shri Sisters, Madhuvanthi Vijayaganesh and Sumedha Vijayaganesh will present a vocal concert at the mikeless concert at Nageswara Rao Park in Luz on Sunday, August 6 morning.
The duo’s father has been their first guru and the sisters have been learning under Sudha Raghunathan and under Suguna Varadhachari.
The accompanists are Mukunthan Samraj on the violin ( his gurus are S. R. D. G. Samraj, T R Balu and Akkarai S. Swamynathan) and Sarang Raghavan on mridangam ( his gurus are Umayalapuram Mali and R. Ramesh).
The concert is held at the Chess Square inside the park, starts at 7 a.m. and runs for an hour and is supported by Sundaram Finance.
