A tree fell down last night inside Nageswara Rao Park in Luz.
It fell across the children’s play area at the rear end of the park.
Park minders said that the tree must have fallen down past midnight when it was raining steadily. The rain though was mild and it appears that the root system of this tree was weak.
This morning, civic workers got down to chop the tree and clear the area where it had fallen.
