Maneka Gandhi, member of parliament, animal rights activist and environmentalist will release the book titled ‘History of the Animal Welfare Movement in Madras-Chennai’ on August 19.
This event is at 6.00 p.m. at C.P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation, No.1, Eldams Road, Alwarpet.
The book is authored by Dr. Prashanth Krishna and the launch has been organised jointly by the C.P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation and Madras Book Club.
