Every year, the Mylapore-based KSA Trust decorates six people of the city which have done some sterling work in their field or profession. Six ‘champions’ in the fields of art & culture, education, enterprise, healthcare, social initiative & sport.
The Champions of Chennai awards is a special event that also takes place during the annual Madras Day celebrations ( www.themadrasday.in)
This year, the 10th edition of this event takes place today, August 17 evening at the Dakshinamurthy auditorium at P S School campus in Mylapore.
The chief guest is IIT-Madras director, Prof. V. Kamakoti.
The event starts at 6.30 pm. Open to all.
