Tamil Heritage Trust will present the annual V Venkayya Epigraphy Award to Dr P V Krishnamurthy from Karnataka.
The award will be presented by the chief guest of the occasion, N. Gopalaswami, former IAS officer.
This event is on Saturday, July 15, 6.00pm onwards at Arkay Convention Centre, Luz.
This will be followed by a lecture by the awardee.
Dr Krishnamurthy’s lecture is on “Kannada Inscriptions in Tamil Nadu”.

One of the foremost epigraphers in Karnataka now, Dr. Krishnamurthy’s research is of exceptional quality, often serving as the gold standard by which others are measured, said a note from the Heritage Trust.
