Ghatam artiste V. Suresh was decorated with the ‘Kedaram Laya Murthy’ award this past week.
The event was held on the final day of a shirt music festival hosted by Kedaram at Raga Sudha Hall, Luz on July 12.
Vidwan Dr T V Gopalakrishnan and Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetti were the chief guests at the award presentation. Kedaranathan, the festival organiser and Sunder of Hamsadhwani, a sabha, were also present.
