Kartik Fine Arts sabha’s founder, Kartik Rajagopal’s birth centenary celebrations will be launched at an event on July 3 in Mylapore.
The event also includes the presentation of Kartik Rajagopal Memorial Award.
The event is from 6 pm at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan main auditorium, Mylapore.
The dance teacher and scholar Nandini Ramani has been chosen for this award.
Senior dancer Vyjayanthimala Bali is a special guest and J. Charukesi, CPMG, TN Circle is the chief guest.
Following the award event, a Thamizh play, Pattinathar, by Thamizharasan Theatres, will be staged.
