CSI Church rolls out more social welfare projects to mark its 125 years

Trinity Sunday was observed at CSI Church of the Good Shepherd, Mylapore on Sunday June 4. As part of its 125th year celebrations, the church hosted three projects that Sunday.

The chief guest for the day was Rev Navagana Prasad, director, CSI Seva. He released a souvenir.

As part of social welfare projects, 15 tailoring machines, gents and ladies cycles, mixies, white and black boards with markers and chalk pieces were distributed to various organisations which are supported by this church community.
Some of the beneficiaries included Banavaram Tailoring Centre (Sri Lankan refugees ), Cuddalore Tailoring Centre, Mukkaramambakkam Tailoring Centre and Samanthimedu-Koovathur Tuition Centre.
Financial  educational assistance was also given to 22 people.
The programme was organised by Y. Bhuvanesh Kumar, secretary of the pastorate committee and treasurer Rajini Kannan. They had a word of thanks for the funders.
