Chettinad Vidyashram held the investiture ceremony for the 2023 – ’24 academic year on Monday, June 12 at the school foyer.
The event marked the induction of the newly-elected prefects, as they were bestowed with badges by the principal, Dr. Amudhalakshmi.
The student body took charge of various positions ranging from that of the coveted school captains and assistant school captains to sports captains, house captains, cultural secretaries, editorial/press co-ordinators and debate/MUN coordinators.
They pledged to uphold the vision of the school’s correspondent, Dr. Meena Muthiah, and the school motto of ‘Strive, Save, and Serve’.
Dr. Amudhalakshmi called upon the students to embody the values of their roles and steer the school towards loftier achievements.
Kaustubh, the school captain were among those who spoke at the event.
