The 1992 batch alumni of San Thome Hr. Secondary School is back to its alma mater as it always does this time of the year – to make donations to the schools on this campus that will aid economically weak students.
Alumni member Karthikeyan said that the group donated Rs.120000 meant for 12 students at Monfort Academy. The cheque was given to Bro. Martin.
The same group will soon collect about Rs.1,95,000 and give it to Bro. Sahayaraj at San Thome Higher Secondary School.
This will fund studies of 32 students.
Karthikeyan says that the group sends out a message to all alumni, here and abroad to raise the funds and all have been very forthcoming.
