A princely Sri Velleeswarar made a two-hour procession around the Mada Streets on Wednesday morning providing darshan atop the chariot. This is part of the ongoing Vaikasi utsavam here.
Devotees turned up in good numbers to have darshan.
Sri Velleeswarar would be atop the chariot through the day at the Kalathi shop junction before returning to the temple in the evening.
