Bharatha Kalalayam marks its 30th anniv with ‘Thirumal Perumai’, dance production

Bharatha Kalalayam School of Music and Dance headed by its director Hemalatha Ramachandran, a Bharathanatyam artiste, choreographer and teacher, celebrated its 30th annual day recently at R. K. Swamy Auditorium, Mylapore.

The team staged  ‘Thirumal Perumai’, a thematic danc presentation on Lord Vishnu ; it was presented by 56 students.

The presentation of Carnatic music kritis by 30 students of the school was pleasing and well received by the packed audience.

Dance guru Anitha Guha praised the team for the excellent presentations. The guest of honour was former regional director, ICCR, Chennai, K. Mohamed Ibrahim Khaleel.
