The 32nd edition of the popular Kodai Nataka Vizha of Kartik Fine Arts sabha will be inaugurated on April 22 at 6 pm by P. Umapathy, CGM, Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai at Narada Gana Sabha main hall, Alwarpet.
Elango Kumanan, director, SS International Live will be the guest of honour. KFA’s president S. N. Srikanth will preside.
The twelve-day theatre fest will be on from April 22 to May 3, with plays staged daily at 7 p.m. 12 troupes will premiers their new plays as is the tradition of this festival.
30-plus awards and 10 trophies are at stake for best play, best actor, best actress and best director among others. These will be decided by a jury. Prizes are also offered for the review for each play written by viewers.
