Gandhigram’s Pop-up exhibition and sale showcases traditional Indian products at the sale venue – C P Art Centre hall, Alwarpet. April 21 to 23.
Gandhigram, a well-known social organisation promoting sustainable living and rural development, is showcasing a range of traditional Indian products, including Gandhigram’s entire khadi garment range – sarees, shirts, dhotis, fabrics, towels, and kurtas as well as cottage industry products like honey, shampoo, oils, soaps, pickle, spices powders, Siddha and Ayurvedic medicines.
All products on sale here are of the highest quality, sourced directly from skilled artisans and craftsmen, say the organisers.
A collection of clamp-dyed Indigo fabrics will also be displayed which will be available for pre-orders. A range of naturally dyed printed fabrics like Kalamkari and Bagru textiles will also be available.
Renowned food raconteur and TV personality Rakesh Raghunathan will be the chief guest and inaugurate the event on April 22.
All proceeds of the sale go towards Gandhigram’s several developmental initiatives and causes.
