‘Textile Stories of Tamil Nadu’ is the theme of Sreemathy Mohan’s illustrated talk on March 23 evening at Ashvita’s art gallery, located off Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai.
Sreemathy’s passion for India’s textiles has taken her to many corners where she has studied and even practically learnt the basics of the craft from the textile makers.
She also manages an online store where she sells unique saris and textiles.
At this talk, Sreemathy will focus on her experiences studying and experiencing the textiles of Tamil Nadu.
The talk, organised by INTACH Chennai chapter, starts at 6:30 pm and is open to all. At No.4, 2nd Street, Dr. R K Salai, Mylapore.
