<< AWARD FOR VIOLINISTS – LALGUDI DUO. CONCERT.

Charubala Mohan Trust honours Lalgudi G J R Krishnan and Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi with titles for their career and contribution: to be presented by  violin vidwan M. Chandrasekaran. On Sunday, March 5, 6.15 pm onwards. This will be followed by a violin duet concert by the awardees; alongside will be Mannargudi A Easwaran on mridangam and V. Suresh on ghatam. Open to all.

 << WOMEN’S BAZAAR

At C. P. Art Centre, Eldams Road, some 20-plus women entrepreneurs have set up stalls to sell what some make at home and some source elsewhere – fashion jewellery, clothes and fabric, dry and wet food stuff, home needs and fashion accessories, crafts and utility items. March 3 to 8, 10 am to 7 pm.

 << TEMPLE BRAMOTSAVAM

The annual Panguni Brahmotsavam at Sri Kesava Perumal Temple will start next Friday, March 10 with the Kodi Etram at 7am. Kesava Perumal will provide Garuda Sevai darshan at 6am on Sunday March 12 while the chariot procession will be early morning on March 16.     – Info by S. Prabhu
