The annual Dhavanothsavam at Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam is to be held from March 5 to 7.
This festival is meant to be an Upacharam (providing pleasantness with respect) to the Lord and His consort in which they are accorded floral decoration, mainly with Dhavanam (an aromatic herb), says a media release.
This three-day ‘festival of fragrance’ concludes with Maasi Magham festival on March 7.
There are music concerts by eminent artistes during the fest.
