The second G20 Framework Working Group (FWG) meeting under India’s G20 presidency has been taking place in Chennai on March 24 and 25.
Over 80 delegates from G20 member countries took part besides guests from invitee countries, and various international and regional organisations.
Some of the delegates of the G20 meet were taken on a guided tour of Sri Kapali Temple on Saturday evening.
A professional guide took these guests around the temple explaining the features of the temple and its architecture.
Temple executive officer R Hariharan and the trustees were present on the occasion and presented silk shawls to the guests at the end of the visit.
Police threw a security ring around this zone and restricted vehicular traffic.
The G20 FWG focuses on global macroeconomic issues.
