On the occasion of Ramakrishna jayanthi, students of RKM residential school and Polytechnic College took out an early morning procession from their campus on Sivaswami Salai to Ramakrishna Mutt on Tuesday (Feb 21).
The students, accompanied by their teachers, went around the Mada Streets carrying the image of their acharya on a palanquin on their way to the Mutt campus.
Tamil teacher Janakiraman told Mylapore Times that the students will attend a pooja at the Mutt before returning to their campus for their regular classes.
