Nagaland Governor Ela Ganesan celebrated his 78th birthday at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple on Friday morning.
He told Mylapore Times after his darshan that it was a special day. “Kapaleeswarar and Karpagambal have always been close to my heart. Hence I decided to spend my birthday morning seeking the blessings of the divine couple,” he said.
He has been part of the golden chariot procession thrice at the temple.
Othuvar Sathgurunathan presented sacred songs in each of the sannidhis.
Temple executive officer Hariharan and chairman board of trustees, Vijayakumar Reddy were present on the occasion.
