On Wednesday afternoon, scores of crows chased away a sole monkey who had climbed on to a tree in a house on Abiramapuram.
The crows that have made this tree their home did not like the presence of the new visitor and surrounded the lone monkey from all sides.
It took quite an effort for the monkey to finally get away from the tree and carry on with its journey.
Monkeys have been seen in this zone once in a while and one resident had to send a SOS to the Forest Department once to get some monkeys trapped and taken away.
